Tap a cell for 0, again for 1. Right-click or long-press cycles the other way.

How to play Binairo

  1. 1. Place 0s and 1s Tap a cell to place a 0, tap again for a 1, and a third time to clear it. Right-click or long-press cycles the other way. Digits printed on the board are fixed clues.
  2. 2. Balance every row and column On an N×N board, each row and each column holds exactly N/2 zeros and N/2 ones. Cells that break a rule are highlighted in red as you go.
  3. 3. Keep lines distinct Three equal digits may never sit next to each other — horizontally or vertically — and no two rows or columns can be identical. Fill every cell without a conflict to finish.

Binairo rules

Every board is generated right in the page: a complete valid grid is built first, then clues are removed in symmetric pairs, with each removal checked so the finished board still has exactly one solution. Start with 6×6 to learn the deductions, then step up to 8×8 and 10×10.

Binairo puzzle FAQ

What is Binairo?

Binairo is a binary logic puzzle — also called a 0-1 grid or binary puzzle — that you play free in a browser. Fill the grid with 0s and 1s under three simple rules until the board is complete.

How do you play this 0-1 grid puzzle?

Tap a cell to cycle it from empty to 0, then 1, then back to empty. Right-click or long-press cycles in the reverse order. The page marks rule-breaking cells in red, so mistakes surface immediately.

What are the three rules?

No three equal digits in a line (no 000 or 111 horizontally or vertically), every row and column holds exactly half 0s and half 1s, and no two rows or two columns are identical.

Is every board solvable?

Yes. Boards are carved from a fully solved grid, and each clue removal is verified with a solver, so every board you get has exactly one solution. You never need to guess.

Can I play on my phone?

Yes. Everything is tap-based and the board scales to your screen. Long-press a cell to cycle backward through 1, 0, and empty.

Do I need an account?

No. The page is static. Your grid-size preference and a local solved count stay in this browser only.
