Masyu unlimited FAQ
What is Masyu?
Masyu is a pearl loop logic puzzle. You draw a single closed loop through cell centers that passes every pearl on the grid, obeying each pearl's straight-or-turn rule.
How do the white and black pearls differ?
White pearls are straight-through: the loop does not turn on the pearl, but it must turn right before or right after it. Black pearls are turning points: the loop bends on the pearl and runs straight through the cells on both sides.
Is every board solvable?
Yes. Boards are built from a hidden complete loop, so at least one full solution always exists. If you get stuck, tap a segment to cycle it, or use Undo and Reset.
How do I mark where the loop cannot go?
Right-click a gap between cells, or long-press it on touch screens, to place an ✕ marker. Markers are notes for you — they never block the solution check.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Tap between cells to add a segment and long-press for an ✕. The page is static — nothing to install, no account, and your size preference stays in this browser.
Can the loop cross itself or branch?
No. Each cell on the loop has exactly two segments, and the finished board is one single closed ring. The solved check rejects branches and separate small loops.
